Play together

Play together with family and friends with the Nintendo Switch Sports Game both in person and online, or challenge players from around the world. In addition to customizing your avatar with items you earn while playing online, there are many other ways to have a great time, such as testing your skills in the pro league, where you can rank up by winning in a variety of sports.

• Compete online against players from all over the world, and you can climb up the Pro league rankings - you can also earn specific achievements, so you'll have every reason to try and climb the ranks!
• Get cool gear for your avatar to wear while you play! Compete in matches to earn points, then trade them in for a cool new look.
• The selection changes every week, so be sure to play regularly to get your hands on all the new items.
• The game does not support Nintendo Switch handheld mode

• Despite being compatible with desktop mode, it is recommended to play it in TV mode for the best experience.

Available sports

Tennis (1-4 players)

Take part in intense doubles matches! Grab the Joy-Con controller and swing it like a racket at the right moment to launch the ball. Adjust your movements to make topspin or spin shots, or even hit the ball upwards to make lobs.

Bowling (1-16 players)

Move the Joy-Con controller to throw the ball, and make it trace a small curve by turning your wrist slightly. Challenge your family and friends to a bowling tournament, or test your skills in 16-player online games. You can also participate alone in a variety of intricate challenges in which you will have to dodge moving obstacles or roll the ball through narrow surfaces, among others.

Chambara (1-2 players)

In chambara, you must throw your opponent off the platform and into the water below! Move the Joy-Con controller to attack or block enemy lunges, and wait for the perfect moment to counterattack. Choose from three types of weapons, each with its own characteristics, such as twin swords, with which you will have to use two Joy-Con controllers at the same time.

Volleyball (1-4 players)

Use the Joy-Con controller to serve, receive, place and spike the ball. The key to winning is cooperation, so join forces with your teammate, and take every opportunity to score a goal. If you raise your arms at the right moment, you can block the opposing team's shots and even counterattack.

Badminton (1-2 players)

Hold the Joy-Con controller like a racket and take on your opponents to show who's the best on the court. Hit the shuttlecock and throw it to the right or left while trying to keep it off the ground, making powerful smashes and sibylline dives to get the upper hand on your opponent!

Soccer (1-8 players)

Get into position and use the Joy-Con controller to score goals with a giant ball! Play one-on-one or four-on-four matches, or use the leg strap (included in the game and also available separately) to execute print shots in Duel mode. A free software update will be distributed this summer that will allow you to use the leg strap in matches as well.

Golf update

In addition, you will be able to enjoy golf starting this fall thanks to a free program update. Move the Joy-Con controller as if it were a golf club and launch the ball to sink it into the hole.
